Well, more like walked/jogged. But the point is I did it- something I've never done before and something I never thought I could Do!
From my previous posts on here you all know I've really struggled with my motivation on c25k and it's only really all your kind words of encouragement that get me through the next couple of runs! I'm still only on week 7 now but silly me realised I'd signed up for the British 10k in Westminster a couple of days ago!
I hesitated but went anyway, scared that I wouldn't be able to do it, or that I'd just have to walk the whole way. But I found a pacer group aiming for 1hr 30 and I stuck with them. I've jogged longer than I have ever jogged before (albeit at snail's pace!) And if I felt tired and needed to walk the group walked with me. We were a team that never left each other behind and I absolutely love that π€
Anyway, just wanted to share this with you as it's a huge achievement for me! I also feel more confident to carry on with week 7 , and I've signed up to their running crew so will have a group to run with once a week!
Oh - and I got 1hr 29 πππ₯!!
