W6R3 ..... it's in the bag.

Same as the 20 minute run, this one gave me the fear. Went to bed thinking about it, woke up early thinking about it, got up and took the dogs out thinking about it, 5 minute warm up walk I felt like a boxer walking up to the ring, butterflies, completely detached from everything ..... what a drama queen.

First 5 minutes flew in, got a bit worried when the 2nd 5 minute marker seemed longer than I expected - sneaky Laura, 7.5 minutes, but took it as a 2.5 minute bonus. As expected next marker was 20 minutes and I was still plodding on, even increased my pace for the final 60 seconds.

I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, even beginning to enjoy it :)

Yeeeessss! go get 'em! Week 7 beckons and now you can just set the rhythm of your feet and relax - no more intervals!

The intervals were good for recovering but this week they've been breaking my rhythm, I found it hard to get going again for the final 5 and 10 minute runs this week.

Not alone there!

Well done! I'm doing W6R3 tomorrow and it helps to hear of your experience.
