So I started this app on New Years Day and there were times I thought it was impossible. I remember doing the dreaded week 5 run and sitting at my kitchen table all kitted up but unable to go outdoors and face it. I mean how on earth could I possibly go from running 8 minutes to 20 just like that with no break in the middle. It seemed impossible, there was no way I was ready for that. I was setting myself up for a fall without a doubt. What was I thinking. So I found myself on this forum scrolling through people’s comments - honestly just as a way to kill time and put the run off but what I found on here were loads of people who had sat where I had sat, thought what I was thinking and went out and tried it with the support of others on the forum. Tried it and succeeded it appeared too! So I got up and ran it and that feeling on finishing was euphoric. I learned that day to trust the program. It does work even when it seems ludicrous. I also learned that this forum is the only support group you need.
Onwards to 10k now!

Whoa there sunshine, consolidation first! Run 5k three times a week for a few weeks, and THEN go looking for programs to get you to ten k. JuJu has a good one over on the bridge to 10k board, but consolidate first. If you don't, your running into injury country.
