This morning I finished week 5

I couldn't sleep before Week 1, run 1 of C25K, for worrying about whether I'd be able to do it. But as soon as I'd done it I was happy to put myself in the capable hands of the programme. don't like looking ahead (in case I get too anxious about what's coming down the line) so I've gone from week to week not quite knowing what it will be like - and I can cope with that amount of uncertainty especially as I've found that I can trust the programme because every week, I find that it has safely got me to the end of another week. I had been told that week 5 was a big step up. That scared me so I repeated week 4 twice to get ready. So I feel pleased with myself that I did it. Run 3 was hard - I mean, 20 minutes! But if I'd known in advance ,I would have had a sleepless night worrying about it. I'm a very happy customer though. I feel so much better!

You're doing brilliantly, who would have thought just a few weeks back that you'd be able to run for 20 minutes? I hope this has given you a massive boost for the remaining weeks, if you can do this you can do anything :)

Thank you - it is funny how hard I find it to be positive about myself but I can't argue with evidence!

Congratulations to you Kariboolindi on completing run 3 of week 5 which is a milestone run for C25K, well done on doing week 4 a few times, you are correct in not looking ahead for future runs, of course I won't tell you regarding future weeks and runs but as you are more than halfway through the course I am very confident about you completing it, good luck ✅💕

Thanks - I'll definitely be checking back in if I actually get to the end. But I'd be happy going along repeating any week I fancy so as to never get to the end but to be always just running. Not that I'll do that. But I'm tempted.

I am sure you will get to the end, remember to take all your runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or weeks if you want to which you have done, no running on consecutive days, if you wish report on your progress on this forum, onwards and upwards.✅

It's great to feel motivated to complete the session - but the sky doesn't fall in if we don't (I should know.... I had to attempt the week 1 session a lot more times than 3!)

I never look at the session until I am dressed and out. By then I am committed 😁

Well done!
