That was a hot run and can’t say it was fun but we did it!!! Week 8 starts on Tuesday. On target to finish the programme on Friday 20th before my running buddy goes to France for 3 weeks to see her dad 😢

I don’t know. It’s going to be tough that’s for sure although need something to fill my days 😱😱

I’ve done all of my running solo bar one memorable Parkrun so I can’t really imagine running with someone else.

As it’s a way off I’d recommend starting to suss out running routes you could run solo while your buddy is around to check them out with you.

That timing is exactly when you need to run the most, to consolidate the programme into a running habit. Hope you find some good places to run!

Great advice! Have a few running routes now and plan travelling down to Dorset to see my partner a fair bit so can get out down there as well. I am starting to see the benefit finally in my legs toning so determined to keep it up!

Excellent. I’ve got pretty poor body self-image but my lower legs are unbelievable now! Keep yours toned up by consolidating! 😉

I’ve got rubbish body self image too but am loving the change in my legs at the moment and bizarrely my stomach seems flatter .....
