I enjoyed my run this morning. Steady, no pressure, just enjoyed the run in the park nearby and what scenery? Lovely! What a beautiful place Guernsey is.
I did see a group of ladies who were out for a morning run, doing the stretches that I forgot to do this morning (oh...yeah 😳)! I didn’t see them again, so it’s obviously just the meeting point.
Two absolutely massive dogs were not too pleased to see me, but luckily they were on a lead. The owner was very nice and smiled, said “good morning” and gave them a yank and said “leave”!....Yeah “leave”! What is it with the dogs? I’m quite a nice person really. A bit of an incline which required a bit of dig in and a reward of a bunch of flies at the top of that, but no other obstacles to tackle today. I’m getting to the point where I just run without too much thinking about how to run. I just enjoyed it! Run 2 back at home on Thursday!
If I have an extra rest day and no hiccups, I will graduate on my birthday. I’m not counting any chickens, but I’m loving that idea!
Keep running, runners! ❤️

Thank you Jay! Mmm...those canines were big and hairy!! 😱! Looking forward to the next run! Will just take it one run at a time, as I know how varied the runs can be. But graduation on my birthday would be so nice!! 🎁 😁❤️
It’s the big 50 next year and I thought it would take a while in preparation, hence the mission! Although I didn’t think I’d take a year to do this, I certainly didn’t think it would be 9 weeks! How wrong I was. So how far will I be running by the 50th? Who knows.....possibilities! Love it! ❤️
Thank you Sallenson! Love the love that everyone gives too! It’s really appreciated and I’m not sure if I would have carried on under my own silent steam! The experience has been one of the greatest! I’m 49 on my next birthday, but the mission is to be fabulous for 50! Figured it might take me a while! 🤣❤️
Well done! Sounds great apart from the dogs, the hills and a mouthful of flies! You will be fabulous for 49 when you graduate and even more fabulous for 50 next year 😃 xx
Looks like a lovely setting, glad you enjoyed your run today. I had a dog chase me this morning, called Ralph, luckily he was friendly though and soon gave up!
Thanks Blonde! Guernsey isn't as hot as the UK. We've even had a little bit of drizzle, so it's been quite fortunate for me! Enjoy your run later too! ❤️
Walking is going well, thanks. Leg is still sore so I’m trying to rest - didn’t go to salsa today! Desperate to run again but being sensible - never thought I’d miss it so much😉. Safe journey home & will keep an eye out for your graduation run. 😘
It was doable southlundon. I didn't really recognise the jump that much this time. I did check in with MJ a couple of times, but he was still there thankfully. Hope your runs are going well too. ❤️
Just a lot Sybilw! Very surprised! Well done you! We are so close to graduation now. Exciting! ❤️
Love the idea that you run without to much thinking about how to run and just enjoy it! Well done for getting to this - you really are a proper runner now!
Thank you Deborah! Today I stopped thinking about performance and getting it right. If the legs are moving, it will do. Best wishes for your next run too! 😁❤️
Thank you Simon. No.....if I tell you how many chickens, one might just run off where I can't find it. Not risking it! 😳 I will stay off the fizzy pop and I'll try to reduce the laughter. Hopefully, that will do the trick! 😁❤️
Well done you!!! You make it sound like a breeze....love your stories. I’m going tomorrow to do my wk6 r 1. Fingers crossed had a break since Friday!!!
Thanks Peet! It’s definitely not a breeze, but I’m always looking forward to going. You kind of know you should be ok, but you’re not sure, so when you come out the other side, it just feels amazing! Enjoy the run tomorrow! You can do it! ❤️
