After always thinking I wasn’t a runner - or exerciser - life finally caught up with me and my metabolism slowed down...leading to my friend kindly suggesting that I look at C25k.
Well I have had the app for ages and tonight I finally did it. My trusty companion Ivy the dog came along for moral support and motivation to keep running!
We did it! Something I never thought I would do and looking forward to our second run!
Feeling quite proud of myself 😁

Slow down, avoid heelstriking, keep footfall under your body not out in front, run on grass or treadmill and wear proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running.
