First run

First run complete. I have been putting it off for weeks and weeks, making excuses , looking for reasons not to go, but I finally did it. It was hot and I felt heavy. I am looking forward to it getting easier, but I’m feeling good, really good. 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️

Well done! The first steps are the hardest. For some reason I have found this programme impossible not to follow! It's the structure, the app also, that takes over your music to tell you what to do. It's great and you won't regret! Good luck!

Thank you. So I can play Spotify and the app (Sarah Millican 😆) will interrupt.

Well done! The hardest part of this programme is going out of the front door for the first time. Second hardest is run 1. You'll be surprised at how quickly you get stronger. Happy running and good luck!

Thank you, it was hard, I think perhaps more mentally challenging cos I have always felt negative about running.

Same here, I thought I was going to have a heart attack during run 1. Keep going - C25K really works!

Well done. That's the biggest hurdle, just getting out there for the first time! 👍

I almost envy you being at the start of the journey. So much good stuff to come. Enjoy! 😁

See how hard that step to get to the start line was? That’s the hardest part. Now that you’re here you can own it. Welcome, and well done.

Well done for doing your first run, you are on the journey now, I hope you get as much benefit from the programme as I have and continue to get, when the going gets tough remind yourself of why you started and what you want to achieve, that should be all the motivation you need
