A busy busy day at work caused a nagging noise in my head on the way home... do you really want to run tonight?.. it’s very hot... your not good in the heat... maybe just wait until tomorrow?.. your hips are sore... you’ve broken a nail - blaaah blah blah...Nope! Stop the nag and just get straight out there!
Early dart from work and out to run soon after 4.
Yep it was hot... very hot but I coped better than the nag had thought. It was beautiful out there and lots of lovely sights to distract me from my achy hips.
WOAH... my calf is on fire?! What the???... panic over it was just a horse fly trying to eat my calf half way through the run 😱 quick hop skip and slap of the calf and of he went 🙄 Cheers!
Started to really feel it at 26 mins in I was spent... still 26 mins... keep going... yep still 26 mins... one leg in front of the other... power on... still 26... you can’t stop this close to the end... still 26 mins...I swear it was the longest minute ever!! Then finally 27 mins... whoop whoop one minute to go 😃 I was literally desperate to stop at 26 but made it to 28 eventually😰
Not my easiest day. Or my easiest run. But I did it💪🏼 no excuses. Week 8 complete 🙌🏼
Week 9 here I come... not today though 😂🙈
