Still can't believe I can run for this long and I am getting faster without really trying to. Looks like 5k will take me 35 minutes now, perhaps I'll do it in 30 mins in week 10 or 11!
Week 8 complete!: Still can't believe I can run... - Couch to 5K
Week 8 complete!

Wow well done, I hope I get that far im on 3rd run of week 4 at the moment at that seems too much of a jump, did you struggle in the beginning at any time. Do you feel natural when you run because I dont. Seem really slow.
Snap! I am 45 as well, was a couch potato, finished week 8 today and I am totally incredulous as to the difference in my fitness in two months! Don't you wish you'd done this years ago? I do. Big pats on the back of us both. Let' s be all smug and complacent together

Oooh please can I join the smug club too? lol! I am on week 8 still running at snail like pace and a bit worried as I have a race for life a week today - am currently nowhere near 5k but still so amazed at how much fitter I am than when I started! Who would ever have thought I could run for 28 minutes, yes 28 minutes!!! We are all doing fab! x
