So I started W7 on 4 May. 8 attempts later and I'm finally ready to move on to w8 after this morning's run - the best of the three that actually involved running for 25 mins (the others were a combination of intervals or short runs with a long walk to finish). No idea why w7 became such a sticking point but I kept going, listened to all the advice received and am feeling quietly relieved to be able to move on without having to try again. I'm hoping w8 doesn't take so much practice!!
Perseverance works! Finally completed w7 - Couch to 5K
Perseverance works! Finally completed w7
Well done. I repeated quite a lot of runs until I felt ready to move up. But now I think it was all in my head and I could have moved on at the right time. But the main thing is to get there in the end. Good luck.
Well done! 😎😁
Well done, I’m struggling through W7 at the moment. 😊
Well done you!
Well done Abicon!! I totally relate to your post, W7 for me was the toughest and the week where I really thought I would fail. Unlike most I really enjoyed W6 then hit a wall with w7. You should be really proud at nailing it. W8 for me was a lot better, hope you find this too.
I'm also finding week 7 hardest so far. Getting round. But it's hard.
Well done on getting it done.
Very well done, be proud of your perseverance, its paid off. Im on week 8 now and it may sound daft but I've found that extra 3 mins quite tricky ..very odd but like you I will persevere. We are nearly there on that podium, its in sight now
I know this was posted a couple of weeks ago now, but i jist wanted to say that I am so glad to have found this post. I am finding that week 7 is a huge road block for me and so far, have not had a completely successful run (despite 3 attempts so far- my most recent being the worst!)
It has been so reassuring to read your pist and the comments. Thank you! 💕
Loads of people have an awful week 7, I had the worst run on r2 of that week. Don’t worry, it gets better in wk 8! You might be dehydrated you know, make sure you drink plenty of water on your rest day. Keep going, you will get there!
