Phew. Tick off another one. Struggled a bit with this last run in W7 but not as much as I did in R1. At one point I wanted to give up - and then I thought of Jay66UK and his struggle with his park run and it made me smile and spurred me on.
And so W8 begins...… Onwards & upwards once more into the breach.
Good luck to everyone whatever run you are on - stay calm & keep on running (definitely gonna get a mug with than on as a graduation present). Although right now I really can't imagine graduating.
IKR. Honestly can't believe I've got this far - I'm not just saying that for attention (well maybe a bit... 😉). I really never thought I would tho in all seriousness- back at W1 I thought I would never get my fitness levels back up after my year's break. I've still got a long way to go but I'm on the road now & I ain't giving up.
I think a few of us have struggled with W7 - I had to repeat R1, so was a bit apprehensive about starting W8. Went okay although I was soooo slow. Planning R2 for Tuesday. Let us know how you get on this week. Best of luck😉
I'm taking "In My TIme of Dying" around the block on Tuesday. Proper "Pull the body from the muddy river" blues rock. And a steal at only a little over 11 mins.
I do have a selection of live versions of "Dazed and Confused" lasting anywhere between 12 and 42 minutes if anyone wants to have a shot?
LedZep - the band that just keeps giving. Apart from anything after most of "Presence" when it just went horribly wrong
I just did a quick check of the parallel and slightly bonkers universe that is my music library. Including remasters, re-releases, compilations and assorted bootleg live albums, I have around 189 hours of LedZep to listen to. That's enough for a half-marathon
Not quite the 2,500 hrs of Bach, but he's older. And more dead....
😂. Can't run to Led Zep - although I love it. My husband can play Stairway to Heaven on the guitar (it's why I married him!). Has to be house music for me to run to though. Good luck to you too!
Congrats on finishing up week 7! OMG only 6 runs to go! Excellent run, especially as you didn't find it an easy one. Best of luck for next week (hint: you won't need it).
Ah - thank you. I'm amazed at how far I've come. I always believed that I was a sprinter & not a runner. This programme is proving me wrong. Good luck with your running.
