So today should be a rest day but my work schedule is really busy for the rest of the week, so I took myself out for this weeks run 2.
10 minutes in and I walked for about 30 seconds - not sure why, I just felt I needed it! Little glum about that, but reminded myself how far I have come in the last 8 weeks.
My face is always bright red after these long runs - I look like the Ribena Berry!

Did W8 R3 this morning and found it harder than the previous two. The first run of the week was while I was on holiday and I ran a really flat route alongside the river. It was amazing!! We live in a hilly area and I took on one hill too many this morning..... I was soooo relieved when MJ told me it was time to slow down!!
I’m sure you’ll find the next run fine; it seems everyone has bad runs from time to time....
Maybe your little walk was your body trying to tell you that on your rest days your damaged muscles repair and strengthen and that if you don't have rest days your muscles do neither and your injury risk increases...........or maybe you were just tired.........or maybe it is the same thing..........
