W8r2 done

Pushed myself out the door into the snow yesterday and did my overdue run.

Ran over crunchy snow with no problems apart from my knees hurting for the first time in the program.

I actually felt like I could have done 30 minutes instead of the 28 but I’ve learned never to go ahead of myself.

So I think I might actually believe now that I can graduate soon! Me!!! 30 minute runner? Wow!!

Well done. Not long now before W9R3! The fact you feel you could do more must make you feel very confident. Keep going :)

Thanks buddy. I hope you’re using this as inspiration to start in Spring when you’re better. I shall be watching every step just like you supported me. 👍🏼

I'll keep the forum updated. Watch out for "W1R1 completed" :)

In the meantime, keep at it, you!!

Well done Jude. I just did W8R1 I had some knee pain too. I’ve checked out exercises for it. Let’s hope it’s nothing serious!

Well done you.

Read a post yesterday from the Mentor IT🤔, advise on sore knees due to impact.🤔

Have you had your GA and got your new RS.🤔

I really need to get this vital thing done to help and remove it from the trivial many in containing and maintaining good knees and of course everything else.

Never had a GA but have had no problems with my feet or knees before. My knees are ok today but I shall never run on sore knees if I feel it again. 😊

I am very pleased for you, that’s great , and remember to heed your own advise.👍👏👏

I am a senior who has to remind myself I am no longer 21.😂😂

I am now, unprompted, having to analyse my daily movements and where I can eliminate or minimise point loading movements.🤔

It will help me get through the C25k programme, along with all the other stuff I do to contain my niggly right knee and now grumbling left knee🙈😂😂

I am not going to end my running days before they have begun.I will be cautious, this is not a race, I am pleased to say.

Thanks for your post, it serves as a reminder, enjoy your journey

, your buzzing.👏👏

Gosh that’s kind, we are all that,

and the good thing, there are many more gems,

that everyone can give and share,

on this NHS One You / Health Unlocked C25k programme🌟

or as I liked to call it , affectionately now ,

the Newbie Boot Camp.🤔🙈😂😂😂🌟
