Dear all

Please can those who’ve started week 3 and are tracking your distances - is week 3 much further than week 2?

I have a route that’s worked well for week2 - but not sure if it’ll be long enough for week 3.

Thanks.

I didn’t measure distances at that stage, but I’d probably lengthen your route by approx 0.5 to 1K.

My guess is that you won’t need any more distance - I’m running on a treadmill, so this is only a rough guide, but according to my Apple Watch, my w3r1 was actually a shorter distance than any of my week 2 runs! The total elapsed time for w3r1 is shorter, it seems more of a “quick blast” to get you up to 3-minute runs.

In week 3 you do the same amount of running as week 2 but less time in walking breaks. The whole workout is actually 4 minutes less. So I don't think you'll need to extend your route until week 4.

You can always keep going and repeat the route until you hear the halfway bell

My route on wk3 actually is less in distance than wk 2 probably because I ran ( well wobbled more slowly ) 😮
