Hi all. It looks like a BIG leap from week 2-3...im struggling in week 2...would you advise repeating it before starting week 3. I don't want to stop and start...

Worried about w2 to W3...
When I did my first week 3 run I found it so hard that I went back and did week 2 one more time. The next time I tackled week 3 it was fine. It's best always to listen to your body and we are all different and progress at different speeds. You might just need two days of rest instead of one.
I just continued to week 3. My first run was forced every step, the second slightly easier, the third a little easier. Now I'm on to week 8...
You can always try and decide you need to repeat runs of week 2.
Good luck! You've got this...
In W2 you ran for a total of nine minutes.
In W3 you run for a total of nine minutes.
The total workout duration in W3 is actually shorter than in any other week in the plan.
You won't know that you cannot do it unless you try............and what is the worst that can happen?

If you struggle with any run, just slow down.
Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.
Trust in the programme. Each week feels like a big step up but, if you've completed the previous three runs, it's prepared you for the next run. Some of the biggest parts of running are the mental hurdles rather than the physical ones. I reckon you should give W3R1 a try, if you're struggling then run slower (no such things as too slow) and if you can't complete it then you can always repeat some of W2 to consolidate your efforts (but physically, unless you're ill or carrying an injury you're not aware of, you really don't need to). There's a good change you'll surprise yourself.
Hi Akfield,
I’m a literally week ahead of you so I hear you loud and clear - but trust me you can do this!
From someone huffing and puffing through W1R1 to someone who has just completed 3 mins non-stop running, I KNOW you can do this.
We’re both going to crack this - I promise!
P.S slow, slow and get slower still - it’s the right way forward
