Now for week 9

Just finished W8R3. Still nowhere near 5k. I guess steep hills and not the fastest runner mean I will have to keep increasing the time I run until I reach 5k. My thought was 2/3 mins extra every three runs just the way this has done it. Can’t believe at Christmas I didn’t run at all and now I can run 28 mins.

Hi Juleskam, Like I have read on here many times, distance is secondary to the time running. 28 mins great stuff, that seems like a marathon to me at the moment but inspiring post. Thanks for sharing as it helps so much.

Well done! But you don't have to reach 5k to graduate, just do the time.?

I’m keeping that in mind. The 5k target is A personal one. I would like to be able to run the distance. But appreciate the hills will slow me down.
