Yay well done! Reading this has spurred me on. I turn 60 at the end of the month and just two more runs to go. πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

What are you measuring the 5k on?

Hi I hadn't seen your reply.I use Strava ,find it easy to use and accurate.

Agree, it is easy to use. However I used it on several routes until I got my Garmin Smartwatch. It was then I discovered that Strava was exaggerating my distance considerably. It was very demotivating! I am up to 5k now. I had my concerns about Strava when I measured my run on a map. I read, it maybe incorrect, that it is something to do with the way phones use positioning. The Garmin is very reliable.

I tested out your theory yesterday I am running between 12 and 13min miles..measured on a friends gamin this equates to approx 39 mins for 3miles .Pleased my 5k still stood .

Ah rosie2shoes, that’s just fantastic, very well done πŸ’πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ₯³, so lovely to have that proud feeling isn’t it? I did the same as you and ran on in my graduation run too.

So consolidation time now, but first take time to enjoy your post grad buzz πŸ₯‚πŸ€—
