OMG! W2R1

So after a fabulous weekend away walking (about 14 miles) and bird spotting (my partners thing not mine!) involving lots of yummy food and wine and naughty scrummy things I did my W2R1. I was already lethargic and tired from the weekend and the long drive home and could so easily have opted out - but I left my unpacking and washing got changed as soon as we got home and off I went - boy was it tough but I did it! So chuffed! I did drag my partner out to support me - thanks Mike I’m not sure I would have done it without him! 😀💖🏃‍♀️

I did w2r1 today too - really felt like pulling a sickie but read the posts on here to psych myself up and talk myself into it. My hip had been so sore last week I had thought about doing week 1 again, but thought NO do week 2 - and it was ok, tried to run more gently and use my left leg as well as right 🙄, and I’m glad I did. Got a wheat bag on it now, but better than expected and got to the ends of the runs 🤗

I’ve just completed wk2run1 and found it really difficult compared to week 1!

We'll done.

I might have to find a supporting runner as well...

I am planning W2R1 this evening.

It will be tough as the car is in the garage, so I biked to work and will need to work late.

But, today is the day I set aside for the session, so I have to do it.

I will post tonight, if I manage it.
