I decided to take this challenge as I felt I need to get much fitter to keep up with the energy my growing children have got. I want to enjoy as much of their growing up moments as I can, and I don't want my physical fitness to be an issue in enjoying it.
Run 1 was ok, I felt tired after the run but I was expecting that. I took a day's break and had my Run 2 this morning. I felt that something has been chained to my legs and I'm dragging it along with me during the run. It felt much harder to complete it. Although I completed it, I felt much more tired than the Run1.
Anyone else had similar experience?

I’m new too so not much advice. All I can say is I’ve read a lot about ‘some days you just don’t feel it’. It could be as simple as that? See how run 3 goes. Good luck. X
I am starting week 2 tomorrow, so not an expert, but I would say that your body needs time to adapt. This is a gradual process, which the programme helps with.
Also, drink lots of water; between 2 and 3 litres a day.
It is also a good idea to stretch the legs after a run.
Hi, I found my runs 2 & 3 harder than the 1st - I don't know why. I have kept going (on week 4 now) and frankly find every run hard but gradually find myself becoming better - keeping it slow seems the key. Good luck
