Whether it was because I was a bit heavy legged from my first run on Monday, or that I went a bit too quick, tonight's run certainly felt tougher.
Still enjoyed it (not entirely sure why!) and now ready for Run 3 on Friday.

Some runs do feel harder than others- not always for any obvious reason. You completed your run & did really well, go you!!😄
Well done! I did my second run tonight, too. Didn't feel too bad and was actually looking forward to it. I'm sure I'll have my bad days, though.
Well done, you did it and that's great.
Well done completing it. I've just done the first two runs too. I decided to go really slowly on the second one after I read lots of posts on here saying that's the way to do it and it really helped - I recovered a bit quicker afterwards. Looking forward to run three - more to having done it than doing it though.
I find my running changes from one day to the next. No rhyme or reason some days as to why it feels easier or more difficult. Well done on pushing through.
Despite my reservations about completing, W1R2, I feel similar to bluebanella.
Well done for completing your 2nd run of the programme smithp24 . Some runs will feel harder than others and sometimes there is no obvious reason for it, but the important thing is that you ran. This programme really works if you stick at it, and those early runs are probably the hardest as you are only just beginning to establish your new running habit.
Good luck for run 3, just take the running at a really slow pace and I'm sure you'll be fine.
Well done, your legs will ache as you're asking muscles to do something they haven't done for a long time but as long as it's an ache and not a pain it's as it should be. Every run your doing though is strengthening them just that little more, take your rest days to let them repair and all will be good.
Just remember though the by word on here is "slow and steady"
Please keep posting your progress. I'm 1 run behind you (and cant wait for tomorrow when I get to do run 2). Its great to see what I have coming. Congratulations of completing the run
Well done, and keep running!
Congratulations! Slow and steady with unexpected joy and smile
I've just finished run 3 from week one... although it wasn't any easier i found recovery inbetween runs quicker. i also went quicker and burnt more calories... bonus!! Good Luck xx
