I was told I need to upload a pic of my new running shoes 🤔 These are now 6 Kilometres old. They cost me a staggering 50 euros which is about 43 quid in real money.
I needed a pair of trainers with tractor grip to help me up and down the muddy hills, and to be honest I am over the moon with them. I also bought some better shoes for when the rain finally departs, hopefully next week.
In the picture you can see Mishmash, she is my fitness coach. She is not impressed with my running, my new trainers or the dog next door. The dog is terrified of Mishmash 😂😂
Ok so back to my run, I have just completed Week 3 Run 2 and I feel fab.. My only regret is I should have started this program a couple of years ago.
I miscalculated when to turn back and head for home so after I had finished the cooling down bit, I started running again and ran a further 1/4 kilometre and then walked around the garden for 5 mins to cool down
Hmmm, one little thing, I have always had a fast heart rate, I don’t know why. At rest it is ticking away at 82/85 running up the hill it peaked at 178 😱
I hope it is just a high revving motor, like my little Mini.
Ok, Bye for now from

Mishmash is slightly psychotic, she hates the other cats who live here and when the dog from next door foolishly decided to chase her, she waited until he was about 3 foot away and then snarling she ran towards the dog.
The dog turned tail and went yelping down my garden, I told the dogs owner, if Mishmash catches your dog, she will kill it.
So he also set off down the garden in hot pursuit ..
She is intelligent, the other cats range from clever to very dim.
When she hears the words, right I’m off to bed. She immediately runs off and hides somewhere, sometimes on one of our bookshelves squashed between two books maybe under or on top of a wardrobe.
The other cats just meow as I pick them up and throw them out.
Love the shoes but I like Mishmash more 😏 The look on her face is one of "come on you can't sit down, we have mice to catch and dogs to scare and food to eat and I've got to lick myself for at least an hour and then cough up the fur balls and..... and......."
