Hi everyone Ok so I'm 28 and new to this kind of community so be gentle on me, haha!!

I am married with 3 beautiful daughters and it was just easy to let my weight and health get out deteriorate with not having much (if any) spare time, so I decided enough is enough and started running.

So.... I started the couch to 5k challenge. I just finished week 5 run 3 and am happy to see that although it was difficult even my back side managed it!! Although running 20 minutes with no break seems like a small milestone, I cannot emphasize enough how amazing it feels to push through one boundary after another, so if anyone out there is thinking of doing it, go for it!

I am training so I can do charity runs in memory of my sadly passed grand-parents and because I want set an example for my little princess. I'll be sure to keep this diary updated as I move forward! Sorry for the long post ladies and gents.

Oh and my name is James :P

I am taking part in a Race for Life in May and hope to jog all or most of the way this time so good luck with your event too! :) :)
