Boom 🙌 25 mins non stop even had a wee burst for the last minute. My only real concern is that at 25 mins I had only just about managed 3km so I’m pretty far off the 5km still, I do run very slow but steady.

I’ve finally realised that there’s no such thing as too slow at the start of your running journey. Just keep going and a slow increase in speed and distance will come. I am only just about passing walkers but I am definitely doing better than the person still on the couch at home instead of being out on this beautiful morning. Good luck!
Hi Jb33 ...that’s a lovely photo! Well done for running 25 mins, that’s some acheivement!!!! Don’t worry about distance, that’s something you can work on once you w graduated...not long now 👍🏻
I did increase my speed for 1 minute at the end so I’ve still got some left in the tank. I’ll just keep at my normal slow pace until graduation then work on increasing it after. Can’t believe it’s only a few weeks eeekkk.
Only a very small minority are doing 5km in 30 minutes at the end of the program so dont focus on that. Focus on being able to run 30 minutes without stopping. Then keep at it after graduation and increase to 5km whatever time that takes you.
Always end up running in the hotel when I am on business in Belfast as can never find anywhere to run that doesnt involve lots of traffic lights. Can you run all along the river from the city side?
Thanks. There’s the Lagan tow path through Belfast probably a short walk from yourhotel. It runs from the centre to Lisburn about 12 miles. There’s a website if I’m allowed to post it walkni.com that has a detailed map. Hope you get to see the city out running sometime.
