That run was about as useful as selling knickers to a Nudist Colony
I knew I wasn’t feeling it today . Straight home from work change get into run gear .
Leaves house - Forgets run watch so heads back.
Leaves house again and my cat follows me so back I got ply him with DREAMIES and head out the door .
After that I started to not feel like going for a run . I felt shattered and totally meh BUT I still headed out .
No idea why I’m smiling as that run was positively horrific , the heat and humidity was horrid I just couldn’t cope .
I am however happy tho that that’s almost week 7 done it’s means I’ve not long to go now till I complete this App and head back on the trails - back to my Happy Place

Week 7 was the low point for me too-exactly what you described. No energy. No rhythm. No enjoyment. Sounds like my run yesterday too!
I would disagree with how useful that run was though. Did your legs run it? Did you battle through even though it was no fun? Did you come home with a smile? Those are all massively useful things to have done. Also, you say you couldn’t cope with the humidity but objectively, you did cope. You did everything that run asked of you. Perhaps your self talk just needs a little tune up?
Would it help to finish the programme on the trails?
Thanks lovely and good to know I’m not the only one who felt like this at week 7. It took a real effort for me to lift my legs today , then my feet were like nooo we don’t want to do this . It was a real battle with my body so much so I didn’t enjoy it at all.
The key point here is that you won your battles. I didn’t enjoy the same three runs per week finish to C25k very much. But, fun lies ahead. I do all of my runs on trails, varying pace and distance from run to run…..this is all to come once those legs of your learn who is the boss! You are doing really well.
