Week one done and dusted
I have just finished my first week and I feel much better for the exercise.
I run through the vineyards, it’s only a pity there are so many hills.
Hills are your friends. They make you stronger.
Have you read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which is full of tips.
Enjoy your journey.
I will go and have a look, I tried to pace the run so I walked up the hills... but it wasn’t possible, the second hill got me
Wow, that’s a beautiful place to run. Where is it?
Congratulations on achieving week 1 😀
I live in Vignale, Northern Italy, in the middle of the vineyards, mmmm wine.🤣🍷
Mmmm, wine indeed!! 😀
The best Barbera for miles around
Beautiful, if hilly
At least now the snow has gone and it is starting to warm up.
Well done!! Am impressed with how many hills you have to conquer on your runs. I find it difficult and am running on the flat!
Ahh! but sometimes it is downhill and when it is I whoop with joy 😜
Congratulations! Hills give you extra brownie points, and it means that you will be a real speedy runner on the flat.
Hey you.. I keep hoping that is true M'fam... :)x
Hasn't worked for me yet, but that's because I don't do it often enough.
If they don’t kill me first 😬🔫
Slow and steady is made for hills and protecting our weak legs and getting the extra oxygen on board at the start of the programme and always really. You do not have to think about it, just do it.
Short stride footfall below your hips.👍👏👏
Spent 4 months with Montecatini Edison at Lago di Garda and Bolzano back in 1970.
Very happy memories.
You will love this , a gift to yourself and the world.🌟🏃♀️👏👏
It is a beautiful place to run, I just hope I don’t run into one of the wild boats that live around here
Queen Mary and the tugs? Or has autocorrect struck again?
Well done 😊 and it looks lovely there ... and dry!
The rainy season has finished.... I hope
mmmmm Hills! ???? Argh Hills !🤣
Wow you have done so well to cope with the hills! 😁😁😁
The downhills help
Finished my third run tonight which so far has been gradually easier since the first. I went out about...
apprehensive about Week 6, especially Run 3 with what seems like a big step up to running 25 minutes non-stop...
bit more achy than the last 2 runs; I feel great for pushing myself just a little bit more within reasonable...
I’m enjoying this! Next week will need to be much slower as the 5 minute runs creep into the programme...
Ok so I just finished week 2! Wahoo! I found the run ok but the breathing technique I can not get for...
