It's taken a little longer than 7 weeks, but nevertheless I've achieved it! Little did I know, or think, I'd be able to do it.
A couple of extra rest days here and there, plus work getting in the way, but at 54 and never having run prior to this excellent program, I'm constantly amazed at what we can do when we put our minds to it!
6 runs left. Woohoo! Slow and steady, it may even take a bit more than 2 weeks... but bring it on!

Great stuff, and don’t worry about how long a “week” takes… it’s 27 runs in relatively regular close together days. Life often gets in the way (I’m yet to go run today, best get out soon before it’s tomorrow 🤣) and I think it is better to have the mentality that it doesn’t have to be every other day helps after graduation as you learn to schedule the runs yourself. Enjoy your final 6 runs to the podium… you got this.
Thank you 😊 that's how I'm trying to look at it. Realistically there will be a lot of times when I can't run on day that I have planned to, but it's a case of, oh well, tomorrow it is then 😁
I'm just trying to ensure that tomorrow does come each time! I've done some late runs, and runs in the rain, just to make sure I keep running consistently and to try and ensure I set those good habits now so that its easier to continue afterwards 👍
Well done on getting this far Illtry..! It doesn’t matter how long it takes you and if you feel you need an extra rest day, it’s sensible to take them! Enjoy your last few runs - not far to go now!
Thank you 😊 and you're right, it does totally make sense to. I'll cherish these last few runs when I'm running them, this point seemed like forever away when I started... now it all seems to be flying by!
