W5R2 complete!

I can't believe it! I made a post last week saying how I was dreading W5 and everyone was so supportive and lovely and as it turns out- absolutely correct! I can't believe I ran for 8 minutes straight, twice! And the maddest thing is that it wasn't even that hard. The worst part was the last 60 seconds of both runs but after that it was fine.

Bring on the 20 minute run on Friday! πŸ’ͺπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Just take it slow and focus on something else, like music if you listen to it. Keep going and I promise it'll go much faster than you think! Good luck and keep us updated!

Will do!

Well done. Amazing isn’t it? I’ve just completed week 5 run 3 and am feeling good! It was really a question of trusting that I could do it, and I did. After about 5 minutes I thought I might not be able to

do it, so persuaded myself to keep going for 10 minutes, and then for another 5, and then it was count down to the end. Good luck with your last run of week 5. I reckon if I can do it, most people can. Strange how even having done the programme before, it’s still a mental challenge as much as a physical one.

Yes I agree it's much more of a mental challenge! If you believe you can do it, it'll happen!
