Into the final week :)

I've done the last three weeks starting with a ParkRun, and ran the whole 5k for the last 2 (36:32, 34:02 and 34:29).

Can't believe how far I've come over the last couple of months.

Bring on the Zombie Evacuation Race on the 28th :)

Luckily I'm in a position where the muscles were never really a problem, I've been a regular on the free weights at the gym for the last 7 years. My C25K trip has been mostly about aerobic fitness and learning some psychological lessons.

Looking at my Strava splits from the Garmin today my pace for KM's 2-5 were all pretty constant (within 15-20 seconds of each other), and there was enough left for a burst at the finish line. I was actually really surprised because in my head I "felt" I was slowing down significantly as the race progressed.
