Don't know if it was down to the cold weather or the extra layers but that one was a hard run, considering the first run of week 2 went quite well.

Everybody discovers that some runs feel harder than others for all sorts of reasons, - not always reasons that we know. Make sure that you are well hydrated and going at a slow comfortable pace and you will be fine. 😀

Just take it slow and steady... each run builds on the last, but some are trickier for all sorts of reasons. Keep it gentle and you will be fine:)

I also did w2r2 today and found it harder than w2r1. That was my fault though as I increased the pace significantly from my previous effort at week 2.

What I'm doing is r1 at a steady pace just to see how it feels, r2 at a faster pace if I felt I had more in the tank after r1, and then r3 back at a steady pace getting ready for the step up the week after

I think that might be what I did today as well, went a bit faster than normal. Will see how I get on in r3
