Been there! Some runs are ‘textbook’ and others are a real challenge. My frame of mind has a big impact I think. Stresses and strains of everyday life can affect how you run, plus how hydrated you are, warm ups etc all play a part. I start WK8 tomorrow so not too far ahead of you. Good luck with your remaining runs
It happens to the best of us... and it happens to a lot of people in week 7! You got over the finish line though, great job. Next one will be a little easier, enjoy.
You are not alone. I struggled through W7 R2 too....trying to go a bit too fast for my capability. No way am I going to stop now having come this far! I have left a two day break in case my body is trying to tell me something and I'm embarking on R3 tomorrow.
Hey......the best thing is you didn't stop and still have a lot of fight in you! 👍💪
Well done mate. You're doing better than I ever did. My three elements are never in sync....except during the 5 minute walks at each end...lol. Keep up the good work.
Hi it does indeed happen. You will have epic runs and crappy runs hut they are still runs. You are onwards to graduating and that’s a great thing 😁 keep it up.
I’ve had a few of these so far. Horrendous at the time but when you finish you feel a sense of achievement. I just assume it’s made me a stronger runner every time it happens, even if it feels like it’s shaved a year or two off my life 😬
Hi. Did it this morning and it wasn't too bad. I must stress that I do follow Laura's advice not to run too fast! I'm reasonably confident of being able to do the 30 mins in wk 9 but I'll be woefully short of the 5k.
You are definitely not on your own!! Just read my posts! Isn’t funny how you look forward to the next run when you’ve just been through absolute hell! 😂
