That was hard!

W4R3 Urgh. Was fine all the way through but the last 5 minutes run nearly killed me! I was wobbling all over the place and tripping over my own feet. When it finished and it was cool down time I nearly sat down on the kerb! My house seemed so far away. I’m currently sweating on the couch too tired to take my trainers and layers off. Bizarre!

I was the same with this particular run. I hope it’s just a Wk 4 thing as I’m about to start WK5 tomorrow and wondering if I’m really up to it as found WK 4 a bit tough. 😩

This sounds mean but I’m glad you found it hard too! Yeah not looking forward to W5. But I bet we both do it - it just won’t be pleasant! Let me know how you get on 😊

You are ready for each run..if you take it slowly...if you are struggling.. slow down more :)

Well done... and slow down. Just relax.. and really take it gently :)

I’m glad it wasn’t just me. Week 4 has been a killer and I’m dreading week 5 and trying not to think about it! The novelty has worn off now it’s getting much harder... 😬

Slow down then... relax... and take each step steadily. There really is no such thing as too slow:)

‘No such thong as too slow’?! 😲 No wonder I’m struggling - I’m wearing the wrong kind of underwear. Thanks for the tip! 🤣

W4R2 was the hard one for me this week, R3 was better but I did do it slightly slower. So it might be slow it down a bit.

In a previous “sporting” life I used to get the “wobbles” whe. I either hadn’t eaten for a while or I wasn’t hydrated enough.

But take the positives out of it. You’ve done it and next new and different challenges will face you (and me) week 5. Something to look forward to.

Well done.

It’s funny which ones we find hard isn’t it? I think slowing it down in the first half might help. The second half I couldn’t have gone any slower! 😊 I’ll take the positives though like you say. Let’s see what week 5 has to give us!

I hope you are feeling better now. Some runs are just like that. I always find after a really tuff run the next one is always better.
