That was hard

Week 7 run 3 done. Although I’m not gonna lie and say it was easy. It wasn’t, I struggled. I found run 2 a lot easier. I don’t know why. Run 2 I was full of doubt and dread yet never struggled. Today was totally different. For a start I felt great when I left the house but after a couple of mins running I was telling myself to stop, I’m too tired, I’m not enjoying it. Persevered and done it. Feel great now. But does this happen to anyone else?

This is completely normal! Some runs are like this, sometimes our legs feel like they’re going to fall off or we feel don’t have enough energy to carry on but the great thing is you kept on going, you finished the run and you should be really proud!

Happens to hundreds of folk... the little mind gremlins are pests that niggle away at us...but the good news , they dislike running, so if you carry on...they give up!

Huge well done you.

Relax and take it slow and steady, these longer runs are perfect for letting the newly forming running legs find their own special, happy pace:)

Well done. Some of those longer runs late in the programme do need you to dig deep, but you did it. I occasionally had 2 rest days between the runs, but pushed through running every other day in week 8 and 9 because I wanted to finish! Take it slow and steady - we all find some runs tough!

Yeah I’ll not run till Sunday now. Mainly because I start work really early on a Saturday.

Yes happens to me! Almost stopped the other day but made myself carry on. Such a good feeling when you do. W7R3 tonight. 🙏🏻
