Week 4 now complete - a day later than expected as I was hit with a cold yesterday.
Ready for W5 now - looks a bit of a beast though!

You'll be fine. Slow and steady gets the job done. You've done the previous weeks so you're ready
I feel the same. Completed week 4 this morning and then checked out week 5 and thought it looks a bit of a beast!
No... just another week of runs... and you are ready for them. Slow and steady does it...you will be fine
Hi, I did W5R2 yesterday. Like you I thought W5 would be really hard, but I found two lots of 8 minutes very doable after all... I even started to feel that mythical rhythm in my legs which more experienced runners talk about! Old Floss is right (as ever). Trust the programme and go for it. You'll be fine! Good luck!
Just completed Run 1 Week 5 and it was no harder than the week 4 runs, infact one less run made it feel, if anything easier!! It’s the 3rd run that is giving me the fear 😩. Good luck 😉
I agree, I did R1W5 yesterday and I was amazed how doable it was (considering that I was ready to collapse after 90 sec running only a month ago!). I found a nice flat forest trail to run in which might have helped. R2 tomorrow then the Big One on Thursday. Scary but exciting. 😱
Veery well done to you all. I've expressed the same anxiety with W4 and impending W5 that I start tomorrow. Ive decided to take one run at a time and listen to the advice on the forum as it has served me well so far. Good luck all for this week!
Week five is the best. That third run will make you feel great.
Thanks everyone - feeling bit better about it now - W5 R1 tonight!
