👋🏻 a quick hello

👋🏻 a quick hello

How’s everyone doing? It’s been a while since I popped by. But just an update. After my 10km race in November I had to take a few weeks rest due to a shin injury. But started back up in Jan. I’ve set a 600km target for 2018 and a 50 mile (80km) target for Jan. On track so far as some of you may see on Strava. 🤭 yesterday was my proudest of this whole running journey. I’m not afraid to admit that I mix up my run with walking. Due to the fibromyalgia I have to be careful. But yesterday I did 17km in 2:23! I only started this journey last July! Looks like I may need to change my half marathon target from sub 3hrs to sub 2:45!

I know. But they aren’t groups in already part of.

Wow, very impressed! And there's nothing to stop you joining the groups Lordi mentioned. We're very friendly in the Bridge to 10k camp (don't know about the marathoners, tbh - they look a bit shifty, lol!)

Ha ha. I’m already in the 10km one. What I meant was that I’ve never posted so no point posting an update as nobody will know me 😂

Got to start somewhere...

Very well done to you! That's amazing, 17k!!! And you've had a few weeks off! You are going from strength to strength and seem very focussed. I've no doubt you will get to your half marathon target, probably quicker than you think!

I've just reached 10k and feel like that's more than enough for me for now... Not sure I can go any further! Good luck with your journey :)

Blooming heck 17km - wow what a trooper you are. My furthest so far is 14.2km, hoping to break the 15km by end of the week. I think that HM target is going to be broken in glorious style

Hello Mrs, I am back in Italy and was hearing about the Manchester run and of course the recent one year anniversary of the Arena incident, and I thought MrsT82, I haven't seen anything from her for a while... Just wondered how you all are... Flynny doing okay?

Anymore amazing cake creations? And just how are you doing in general?

Hi Jan!! Which was the last cake you saw? Wonder Woman? If so then yes I made my best one ever after that for Flynny’s second birthday. The Manchester Run was amazing!! How is your challenge going? X

I am glad the Manchester run was good and you are all okay. I am up to about 870km of the 2018 and have 2 weeks runs in the bank, just in case of illness/injury etc. I hope to clear half way before the half way stage of the year, I’m really looking forward to the 'kms to run’ number being much less than the ‘kms done’ number...

The upside of the running is I can eat almost anything, the downside is my calves are so huge now, my jeans don’t fit....:)

And yes it was Wonder Woman I saw, and I still think you are that WW. Did anything come of the incident in the car park with you and Erica and Flynny - did they find the nutter who threw the rock?

No they didn’t find him. Nothing became of it!! You’re doing so well! Well done!! I don’t know how to share my photo, but do you use Instagram? X

Oh I don’t but I think Mr JCR does, but he’s away with cycling buddies in the Alps, - drop in the links and when I speak to him I can ask for his id... any cyber detectives please ignore that last remark!

Ha ha well I have a running one @nat_the_heartrunner and a private one where my cake pics are showing the fire engine 🚒 I made in March. That one is @natbwfc and will need approval to see so if you find the heart runner one first and message me on there, so I know it’s you, I’ll accept you on my other page.

Okay will do - speaking to Mr JCR tomorrow....
