Definitely a step up this week. Lower back feels a bit sore so the rest day will be needed to rest and recover. Kept thinking of Michael and the hedge 😅

Lower back pain is not uncommon in runners and is generally a sign that core strength is not good. I first suffered this when I increased my long run to ten miles and it took a lot of work to allay it. Planks, bridges, squats, crunches, burpees etc are all good for your core.

Good advice - I am doing some of those, not the burpees. It’s a long term problem but I know strengthening will help 👍
