A bit of a chaotic start as people kept turning up unexpectedly whilst I was trying to warm up. Off I trotted, and then realised I hadn’t changed from my Skechers into my trail shoes, and as I was only 2 mins into the walk I went home and changed. Attempt no2 went ok and feels just the right place to start back. Did the obligatory cool down stretches, but my Achilles is a bit sore so I’ve also iced and taken some anti-inflammatories. I’m going to take 2 rest days, and hope it will settle down by Monday, but I have a physio appointment the same morning so will see what he has to say. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Lovely day for a run though 😁

Just frustrating that it just flair up and I feel like crap again that I can’t run 🏃♂️ but I feel like going for a run this minute lol 😂 thanks for the advice 👍
Brilliant but please be careful. I am no expert but found stretches on non run days has helped me. Hope it all settles down for you. As Mig said in a previous post it’s a framework and it takes as long as it takes! Don’t get too impatient and fingers crossed for physio positive news.
It was a lovely day here in the south too. 💪 Good healing vibes to you
Well done for getting back to it in such a measured way. I know how frustrating it is to have to hold back and rest and go back to an earlier week. But the prize at the end is all the more shiny for the wait! All part of the process of becoming a runner. Hope it goes well at the physio 🤞🏻
