Hiya, I’ve not been able to go out these last few days but I’ve planned to do the big one sometime today! Slow and steady and I’ll be fine but I’m still worrying that I won’t be able to do it. Hopefully I’ll fly through it and feel great afterwards.

Week 5, Run 3
I'm starting week 5 today and the run 3 is all I can think about but having read so many posts on this particular run it seems that it goes better than expected for a vast majority of new runners.

Most people think that about this run! The program has got your body all ready for this, tell your brain to get in line!! Start slow, stay slow. All will be well! 😄
W6, R3 looks even scarier! I started too quickly on my last run so I’ll have to start slower and hopefully I’ll last longer. I can’t wait to be able to say that I did it - got a 10k in 4 months so I’ve got something to work for, although I’m quite nervous about that too!
If you go steady you will nail it! No need for speed! Finishing is all that matters
