I did it! This plan is amazing. I can hardly believe that in 5 weeks I’ve gone from barely being able to run to the garden gate, to running - very slowly - for 20 minutes.
I found the first 10 minutes pretty hard going but once I passed the half way mark I began to believe that I was actually going to do it. I run on a beach near my home and it was damp and breezy so it was a bit easier once I had turned round and the wind was at my back.
Anyway, thank you for all the posts that have encouraged me to keep going - now heading to Week 6. 😃

I have just completed W5R3 this morning as well! So pleased. We can do this! Its really good to know other people are out there doing the same thing. Keep going
You run on the lovely silver sands of Tiree, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran, the weather forecast for the west of Scotland and especially the islands is for gale force winds for Sunday, however, as you won't be running on Sunday, hopefully by Monday the wind will be a little less strong.
Thank you 😊. Yes, rest day tomorrow and I’ll be checking the forecast carefully for next week. I’m so lucky to run in such a beautiful place but the wind can be a brute! Thank you for the tip for next week - will try to mentally prepare myself.
