I’ve completed couch to 5k before and this run is a memory I’ll never forget.
I’ll never forget that high I felt afterwards. I think I’d felt dubious about whether this plan would work for me (a very unfit person who has never exercised before).
that high I got was like nothing else. I remember running in the door and screaming to my husband ‘I DID IT!!!’
Anyway, this run is next…and I’m sooo nervous. I just completed run 2 today and it felt difficult. I finished each 8 minutes thinking ‘thank god for that’. So I’m scared I won’t finish the 20 mins this time. I’ll go slowly. It’s come around so quick, I feel I was only in week 1 yesterday. Ahhh!!

Not sure why the word graduate isn't next to your username Be-yourself as you have completed C25K before, anyway as far as "that run", namely run 3 of week 5 , take it especially slow and steady as you did the first time, good luck ✅🏃
Well done you. Keep at it and never be afraid to repeat runs and slow down if you need to. Realistically it took me more like 14 weeks to run for 30 mins consistently and now I sometimes have 20 min runs sometimes 50 depending on how I feel, weather and the time I can spare. You’ve got this and any exercise is always better than none
hi Be-yourself, great that you are revisiting C25K having previously completed it, there are a lot of us who have done that in this group, me included! You are absolutely right about how amazing the programme is. You have run for at least 30 minutes as a graduate and so it’s just getting that self belief back and even if you find you need to have a couple of attempts to complete this run, just think of them as practice runs if that helps. You will do 20 minutes and more. So try and relax and be confident that you are doing this programme for your own reasons and you will complete it again… you can do this
