I'm amazed to find that I managed this run today! When Michael announed that the run was TWO 8 minute runs I thought - no way!! But I'll give it a go and see what happens ---- Taking the advice of keeping it slow, bit keep running [well, jogging anyway] I kept going and at half way thought I reckon I can do this. By the time I'd had 5 minutes 'rest' I felt I could certainly do the other 8 minutes and I did!
So I'm well chuffed; just a few weeks ago I stuggled to manage to keep going for 1 minute.
As an aside - I posted a bit back that I was having problems with pain/cramps in my feet. I seem to have got over that, not least by not tying my shoes too tight so there's room for my feet to expand as I run - simple mistake, but it's all a learning curve.

Well done!! Be confident for the other runs too! And you're right about lacing your shoes not too tight: it's something we never mention or we neglect but quite important (I stopped getting blisters when I realized that!). Wish you a lot more happy runs!
Brilliant! And taking it slow really is key, isn't it? Good work. Completing the runs is important and with every run you are building stamina. Feels like magic, eh?! Keep up the good work, you are doing fab!
