Well, that was hard. Of course it was enjoyable...wasn't it? Ermm, no: grunt, grind and grimace would about sum it up. Definite step up in terms of challenge.
I've had an iffy stomach for a few days and it felt like my innards were flapping about like wet washing on a windy day. Also, had the dogs out on three mile jaunt across fields before I decided to run: perhaps I can blame my new, ridiculously heavy, safety wellies? I think they would be ideal for a deep sea diver, or kicking down the occasional brick wall, but it might be easier to strap paving slabs to your feet for walking.
3.46 km covered in the running (read shuffling and swearing) 25 mins.
Anyway, done.
Onwards and sideways.
Week 7 incoming.
Jo Whiley says I am a runner: very sweet of her but I'll reserve judgement.
