Wow! I’ve just completed week 6 and ran for 25mins non stop! I can’t say it was easy (or enjoyable!) but I did it! Six weeks ago would have been almost impossible to imagine...but here I am! Looking forward to the day rest before W7! Keep going!

Sorry that you did not find run 3 of week 6 enjoyable but congratulations on completing it, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, onwards and upwards to week 7 and hopefully you will enjoy your runs.

Well done.

If it is not enjoyable, try slowing down.

Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.

Thanks!!! I can promise you that if I was to slow down I could just be walking! I think I had an off day yesterday, but I’m sure there will be better runs to come! Thanks for the advice 😊

Many people jog slower than they can walk......that is fine, but if you cannot provide your muscles with a good supply of oxygen then you will work hard, suffer more aches and pains and potential injuries.

Running slower is an epiphany for many.
