Yay, just graduated

Hi all, I am so chuffed right now. Finished the program tonight.

Only managed the 30mins, didn't reach 5k in that time but am not too concerned about my pace, or lack of it right now. I did manage to do a full 5k week9 run1 so know I can go the distance.

Next target : get to running 5k in 30 mins

Then : do my first park run

And then after that : 10k maybe

Thank you to all on this forum for your help, support and advice. It is very much appreciated.

Congratulations

I can't wait to graduate and treat myself to some better music - one more run to go!

I'm also going to use an app to see how far I am actually running in the 30 minutes, i don't think I'm anywhere near it currently, I'm very slow. What do you use for distance?

I have a Fitbit for my stats, distance etc. It links to my phone's gps.

Great and well done. I've just done 9/1 this morning round my local park run route which I sometimes use as a training route and managed 5k in 39mins. I'd like to be able to do it in 35 mins before I take part on a Saturday. Good luck, where you gona do your park run?

My first park run I think will be Lee-on-Solent on the South Coast - nice and flat πŸ˜„

congratulations :)

Go and do your parkrun now - no need to wait til you can do it in 30 mins

If you get quicker each week, that's just more PB's - if you don't its still a great run with a really friendly crowd
