Just completed week 1 and feeling proud! I’ve always said I can’t run it makes me feel ill but decided to give this a go and found having the run broken down into sections really helped and I CAN do it! 😊

That's wonderful, huge well done. Getting started is often the hardest part. 😃

You are just beginning a very special journey. Enjoy it, slow and gentle, one run at a time 😀

Well done I think it’s a brilliant programme. Slow and steady and take your rest days and before you know it you will be a graduate of c25k 👏

Good luck. I bet you'll change your mind about running. I just graduated. I was unfit and old and I hated running 10

Weeks ago!! I just kept going and I'm amazed I actually managed it, well done for taking the plunge, take it slow and steady and always take your rest days and warm ups etc . The programme works - unbelievably! Good luck x

Thats fab well done 😊

Well done for completing the first week. We've all been there and it really does get better with each run. Learn to stretch before and after each run which will reduce your chance of injuries, don't worry about speed or distances, just follow the program (5K may not happen by week 9, but 30 minutes running will!) and just enjoy the freedom and inner strength you'll gain.

Well done, Nicci. Weeks 1 and 2 were the hardest part for me. I hadn't run for (ahem) 40+ years and thought I couldn't do it/hated running/hurt like hell, etc. I graduated yesterday. If I can do it, anyone can. Just believe in yourself and stick with it; the mantra here is keep it "slow and steady" - you will get there. Oh, and I promise you'll change your mind about running - I'm addicted! Everyone on the forum here is super-friendly and supportive, so do keep posting on your progress.

Yep you can! It’s amazing what we can get our reluctant minds to let our bodies do
