Week 1 completed

Finished week 1 with a run in the local park because of the ice. Ankles still giving me a bit of bother but I feel glad to have done it. Started diet today also.

Well done and good luck with the rest of the programme and the diet.

Mine starts January 1st and I really mean business this time ! :-)

Lets hope this ice disappears sometime soon, and we can all get out without risking breaking our necks !

All the very best to you xxx

Oh well done to you! I'm sitting here looking at a tub of Quality Street. There's still quite a lot inside. I think I might just scoff them all, at least they'll all be gone then. I did day one of week 2 today, but waited until the frost had gone. Felt good

Well done Willica. I'm with you on the diet as of tomorrow. Just have the Celebrations, Heroes, After Eights and Lindors to finish first........ ;)

I find that anything I don't want hanging around in the way of cakes etc evaporates when I leave it out on the side.....perhaps it is only my kitchen that has an infestation of almost teenagers and grandparents!

Heehee :D tis true. There's nothing like a brace of teenagers to demolish a chocolate stash!

Well done :-) I think the odd ache and pain is normal when you start doing an activity that perhaps your body is not used to... in some ways, its a good ache, means you've done something. Post run stretches will certainly help. All the best for your next runs. :-)
