Went out for w7r3 this morning...cold, very cold and a strong wind in my face. Nearly gave up part way through my walk up walk. I live near the coast so I knew my route was going to get worse before I headed back but decided I couldn't face going home without at least trying. So head down against the gale I started runnng and before I knew I'd turned the corner and was out of it. Then oh no my carefully positioned selotape have up and blew off into my hair. Down to one headphone I carried on until it too decided to fly off. With 5 minutes still to go I laboured on holding my phone with my headphones dangling so I could keep checking progress. The stupid light from the screen half blinded me so I couldn't see the track and nearly fell into a hedge. Then finally I plugged back in just in time to hear michael telling me to slow down. Retracing my steps to head home I was asked by a dog walker if I'd lost my dog as he had seen me run in one direction then walk back past him again. I couldn'

Sorry it cut me off half way through a sentence. Anyway it turned out the way I was holding my phone and cables it looked like a dog lead...lol.
Anyway I ran the whole 25 minutes today!
Ah, one of those that thankfully doesn't come around often. Everyone has a similar story to tell, mine was about pirouetting around ice patches which nearly ruined the run. Oh well. I always say that the weather has got nothing against us, instead it's us fighting the weather and its beauties.
