Good evening my lovelies I hope you are all well ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I thought buy this time this week I would have finished wk9 but !!!!! Life just getting in the way at the mo , Iโ€™m suffering with back ache at the min so since last week fri Iโ€™ve may been able to run ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜• Iโ€™m so disappointed!!! Iโ€™ve come so far and on my last wk itโ€™s all gone pear shaped but hay ๐Ÿ˜ƒIโ€™m sure hopefully next week Iโ€™ll be back in that treadmill ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†. Hope youโ€™ve all had a good week up to now !!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Oh Marv, I understand your frustration, but if you have a sore back you do need to rest. Any idea what caused it? Have you seen your GP? Sometimes sore lower back can mean weak abdominal muscles, so once you recover you could try some core strength exercises?

Aww thank you Sadie-runs Iโ€™m not to sure why it started a few weeks ago but itโ€™s got worse but Iโ€™m going to have a test and see how I go but I think I need to do some core excerise will ask my PT when I book in with her x

Oh bad luck, rest up, stay nice and warm and hope you get back to your runs soon.

Bravo for remaining so positive! I've become a specialist of backache for over 25 years... Rest and take care of it (stretching and massage?): the graduation line is not far away and you'll make it.

It doesn't have to be a 9 week course. It took me much, much longer. If you have an injury you have to rest it. However long it takes, you are still on the course. You will finish it. Week 9 is just a title not a requirement. I did week 2 for weeks and weeks until my knees were up to moving on. Now everything hurts except my knees.

Hi ya love thank you for asking Iโ€™ve had 2 weeks off now and Iโ€™m back at the gym tomorrow !, Iโ€™m feeling a little nervous ๐Ÿ˜ฌ but Iโ€™m taking it very slowly ๐Ÿ˜xx

Hi Marv is it a back ache or back pain? There is a difference. It could be due to new muscles you are using when running. It could also be due to your running shoes are not serving you. I did a gait analysis and needed an insert to support my knee and back ache after thisbnow I donโ€™t have a problem. Might be worth checking. Good luck !!

Hi jan55 Iโ€™ve had my gait checked and my shoes ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ are ok but my back is feeling much better Iโ€™ve been off the program for 2 weeks now but Iโ€™m planning on going back to the gym tmw but I am going to take it very slowly ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘

Sorry to hear ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ˜ฉ but why not just do week 8 / 9 again ... it's better to repeat than let all that work slide ... and stretch well ... I have a bad back too so I feel your pain ...
