Week 6 Run 3 - All done

Completed the 25 mins run today. First time I actually felt that I got into some sort of rhythm. I even found my mind wondering about all sorts of things other than my legs and my breathing. I am confident now that I can finish this programme - although I wont be running 5K in 30 mins - I do know that I will be running the distance in a few weeks time but will take a bit longer than that! I really understand now all those comments about trusting the programme. It is brilliant!

Well done Runforme😊...Yes, you are on the home straight now. This is where you feel your breathing starts to regulate, you begin to relax and find your happy pace, and know that you wil be able to run for 30 minutes...

Now the runs are getting longer you may want to take extra rest days..and you may notice a bit of toning and firming up going on..😉

Yes its a great program that does work and you will be able to Graduate. Start your runs nice and steady...

Good luck with W7😊x

Thank you for your comments. A bit of toning up would not go amiss! Interesting comment about extra rest days - I'll bear that in mind if my legs are still feeling stiff.

Well done. You're 2 runs ahead of me now as I can only run Friday and Sunday as just too dark so not safe. Keep up the good work 🏃😀

The change of hour and shortening days make it really difficult to fit around work. Still progress is progress even if it has to be a bit slower during the dark months.

I also did this run today. It felt good even with the mizzly rain. I decided to start & remain steady and not worry about speed or distance but even still improved covering 4.77km. Feeling super tired though! Excited to start week 7 on Monday 😀

Well done. You're way ahead of me speed wise. I'm the slow and steady tortoise but I'll get there but it is currently looking more like 40 mins of running to reach 5K for me.

I also did this run today. Felt very anxious but felt ok - last 5 mins probably weren't pretty but very pleased with myself!
