Managed to get out and do the Bedford parkrun this morning it was cold and raining and I was very tempted to stay under my lovely cosy duvet but once I'd had a coffee I confess I was rather looking forward to it.
Lots of people so I may have started off a bit quick as I have to say the final half lap almost finished me off. I was so tempted to stop and walk for a bit but I am proud to say I didn't, I dug in and kept going, slow and steady. OldFloss's wisdom rattling though my head as I ran on to the very end.

That's an excellent result and achievement. Well done! My first parkrun (Bangor, County Down) was last week and my time was 44:44, so I've a bit of catching up to do... 🏃 😊
They are great. Really friendly people. All ages, all abilities. Young fitties that sprint round in less than 15 mins, kids, dogs, people running with pushchairs, people doing a mix of walk/run to the likes of me; just happy to get all the way round. Enjoy :0)
